Ballet Needles

If you're a customer of Ballet needles, particularly the Insulated ones, you're probably aware of some ongoing stock issues with the brand. We have some recommended alternatives available from the Pro-Tec brand.

The recommended alternative needs varies depending on the machine and treatment type you are using.

If you are using an Apilus machine, we would recommend the Pro-Tec Insulated needles, as these are made by the same company. If you are using a flash mode (MicroFlash, PicoFlash or Multiplex) it is essential that you use an insulated needle, as well as with the xCell and Platinum models of machine. There is no need to change your settings when changing needle from Ballet to Pro-Tec.

If you are using a non-computerised diathermy and/or blend machine, such as a Carlton or Silhouette machine, you can simply switch to using a Ballet Stainless Steel or Gold needle. Gold is more gentle, particularly on sensitive skins, whereas stainless steel is more economical.

If you have further queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to assist you.
